I'm Kyle, a content designer who likes digging into hard problems.
For nine years, at Questrade, Shopify, Microsoft, and Intuit, my curiosity has pulled me toward the systems behind a product: its information architecture, its content strategy, and the design systems and AI that help it scale. I build them alongside engineers and product partners, keeping things clear and consistent as they grow.

A lot of content problems aren't really writing problems. They're structure problems with words on top. I like working on both, which is why the things I build tend to still be standing when I check back in.

What I'm known for
I ask a lot of questions and dig into the background and the why. That's usually where the clearest content decisions come from.
I look for the pattern under a one-off request, then turn it into something reusable, so the clearest choice becomes the default across a product.
I like getting engineers, product, compliance, and design onto the same page, and the same words. The best systems come from the whole team, not one author.
Title or not, I take ownership: setting direction, mentoring designers, and pushing for new approaches, including AI, when the familiar ones fall short.
