Hi, I'm Kyle
I'm a content designer in Toronto, nine years in. What pulls me in isn't the words on the screen so much as the structure underneath: the information architecture, the content model, the system that decides what reads clearly and what doesn't. I like untangling that with the whole team, and building it to hold up long after I've moved on.
What I'm known for
I ask a lot of questions and dig into the why. That's where the clearest content decisions usually come from.
I look for the pattern under a one-off request and make it reusable, so the clearest choice becomes the default.
I get engineers, product, compliance, and design onto the same page, and the same words. The best systems come from the whole team.
Title or not, I take ownership: setting direction, mentoring designers, and pushing new approaches, including AI, when the familiar ones fall short.
